The Haramain High Speed Railway project links Makkah and Madinah with a route that allows passengers to travel via Jeddah and King Abdullah Economic City. Each station contains, in addition to the main building, arrival and departure concourses, a mosque, civil defence fire station, helipad, terminals, short and long term car parking, lounges for VIPs, shops, restaurants and cafes.
